OUR SCRUBS PROGRAM
IS COMING SOON!
The Assistance House of Ross County’s long-standing mission is to provide temporary assistance to working citizens of Ross County who face financial challenges. We are excited to announce the launch of our newest community resource, the Scrubs Program. We have found that many of our “return to work” candidates need scrubs by the very first day of employment. New scrubs are expensive! With this program, our clients will have access to work clothes they otherwise could not afford. We need your help to make it happen! We will be hosting a SCRUBS DRIVE, March 29, from 10 am until 2 pm at The Assistance House headquarters located in the former Mt. Logan School building. Sparkle Cleaners in Central Center will also be accepting donations now through March 29th. Please lend your support by encouraging your employees to donate new or lightly used scrubs, which will be gathered, laundered, sorted and made available to those who qualify for our programs.* As an added incentive, donors will receive a raffle ticket for each item donated. Prizes from the drawing will include gift cards from Old Canal Smokehouse, Picture This, A Touch of Charm Mercantile and Olive Garden. Additional raffle tickets will be available for sale at the time of the drive. (Raffle tickets will not be available at Sparkle Cleaners).
Please help us get the word out to your employees, friends and social contacts. The success of this program relies on the community coming together.
Together, we can help those who need our help!
