Meet our new
Executive Director,
Joyce Neff
The Assistance House is thrilled to introduce you to our new Executive Director, Joyce Neff. Joyce’s career has spanned many years across the non-profit, governmental, and educational spectrum. She served for more than two decades as a Caseworker for Ross County Job and Family Services, helping the people of Ross County. Joyce served on the Huntington School Board for eight years. At the beginning of her tenure she jumped right into on-going contract negotiations during a teacher strike. Within a week a mutually agreeable contract was forged with the teachers. Her leadership, along with another board member on the district team, was exceptional in that scenario. Joyce also worked as an Administrative Assistant at the Ohio Public Defender’s Office.
After retiring from state employment, Joyce became a paraprofessional for almost twenty years within the local school districts and assisted with the Latchkey program through the Chillicothe City School system.
As you can see, Joyce’s life has been spent in assisting people in their time of need; economically, educationally, and through government programs. She believes strongly in serving her community and making a difference in her neighbor’s lives, which works beautifully with TAH’s mission and vision. Welcome aboard Joyce!
